Linux Links

Here are some links that should be in any self respecting Linux enthusiast's bookmarks file. They are in order of my preference:

Brings you up-to-the-minute news on a wide variety of topics of interest to the technically minded. A regular water-hole for those interested in Linux. It also provides a sophisticated forum where you can discuss each article with others. This is generally the first site I point my broswer to when web surfing.

An answer to the age-old question: "Where's the beef?". If you want to be informed the minute a new Linux application becomes available, or a new version of an old one, Freshmeat.net is the site to visit.

LinuxToday.com
Another news site, but this one is more specific to Linux than SlashDot, and is frequently updated more quickly. I find that it lacks "atmosphere" (if such a term can be applied to a web site). Also, its discussion system is very primitive.

Linux.com
Probably the best linux site for the beginner. It is very well designed and aims to provide all of the introductory information a Linux newbie could ever need.
